Lead ELA Content Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Content & Instructional Specialist, ELA (Contractor).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop lesson and curricular materials that align with the ELA 6-8 program's pedagogy and instructional framework
• Source engaging texts and curate text-based instruction to enhance student understanding and engagement
• Provide guidance and support for teachers while ensuring high-quality content and consistency across materials

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in secondary education (grades 6-12) with a strong background in literary genres and critical analysis
• Bachelor's degree in English or a Humanities field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in creating engaging lessons and curricula in a collaborative environment
• Broad knowledge of secondary literacy education and research
• Team leadership experience and demonstrated ability to provide constructive feedback
