Lead Estimator

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Estimating Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee estimating efforts and coordinate activities among divisional team members to meet proposal deadlines
• Prepare detailed multi-discipline EPC cost estimates and lead the development of full proposal packages
• Mentor junior estimators and provide technical guidance while ensuring estimating standards are upheld

Required Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
• 3-7 years of experience in electrical estimating, particularly in the electric utility or EPC sectors
• Proven experience with renewables, distribution, and substation projects
• Advanced proficiency in estimating software and construction scheduling tools
• Strong knowledge of construction productivity, equipment capabilities, and labor planning
