Job Summary
A company is looking for a Lead Financial Clearance Specialist - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and distribute work among Financial Clearance Specialists, providing training and technical assistance
- Implement new or revised systems and procedures while performing troubleshooting and process improvement feedback
- Verify insurance eligibility and manage referrals and authorizations for patient services prior to service delivery
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Associate Degree in Business or Healthcare preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of insurance verification and/or authorization experience
- At least 1 year of experience as a Financial Clearance Representative in good standing
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology
- Bilingual skills preferred
