Group Financial Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Group Financial Controller to lead and scale its finance function across a multi-entity, multi-currency fintech group.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements under IFRS and manage group accounting policies
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance across entities
• Design and implement strong internal controls while managing statutory and regulatory reporting

Required Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) with 5+ years PQE
• Proven experience as a Group Financial Controller or senior finance leader in a multi-entity environment
• Prior experience in mobile money, payments, telecoms, or fintech is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and group consolidation
• Hands-on experience with modern accounting/ERP systems and financial reporting tools
