Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Python Engineer - Data Platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services primarily in Python
• Develop and enhance APIs, ensuring they are secure, performant, and easy to use
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA to bring new ideas from concept to production

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience building backend applications, with Python as the primary language
• Solid background in building distributed, cloud-native applications (AWS preferred)
• Familiarity with REST API design, microservices, and event-driven architectures
• Experience mentoring, reviewing code, and providing technical leadership is a plus
• Proven ability to work in remote, cross-functional teams
