Job Summary

A company is looking for a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform utilization management reviews efficiently and accurately
• Review appeals and complaints related to medical decisions by assessing medical records and treatment plans
• Collaborate with the Medical Director and communicate with clients regarding the utilization management process

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• MD or DO degree with an active, unrestricted license to practice medicine
• 5+ years of experience in medical practice, including residency
• Board Certification in an ABMS or AOA-recognized specialty
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and federal/state legislative mandates
• Able to work well under pressure and maintain confidentiality
