Medicaid Actuary

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Chief Medicaid Actuary to oversee the actuarial function and ensure effective operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and ensure application of actuarial policies, processes, and methodologies
• Establish department strategy to assess product behaviors and pricing impacts
• Oversee preparation and interpretation of data for rate and formula filings

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Actuarial Science, or related field required
• Master's Degree preferred
• 10+ years of actuarial experience required
• Knowledge of Health Care Reform (ACA) regulations required
• Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (ASA or FSA) required
