A company is looking for a Medical Staff Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate medical staff compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards
- Coordinate activities of medical staff committees, including meeting facilitation and documentation
- Provide administrative support to medical staff officers and maintain accurate credentialing files
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Associate's Degree required, or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- 3-5 years of experience in medical staff office/credentialing in a hospital setting
- CPCS or CPMSM Certification required within two years of employment
- Knowledge of accreditation and regulatory standards
- Experience with data management and credentialing software systems
