Mexico CPA Lead Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Accountant to join their global accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare reconciliations for monthly and yearly General Ledger close
• Prepare monthly global consolidated financials with assistance from the Corporate Controller and foreign subsidiaries
• Assist in the preparation of financial reporting packages and corporate income tax returns

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Public accounting experience required; CPA in the USA or Certificado from the Instituto Mexicano de Contadores P blicos preferred
• 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably at a SaaS company
• Knowledge of US GAAP accounting and taxes
• Advanced Excel skills and experience closing month-end periods in accounting software systems
