Mid-Level Grid Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mid-Level Grid Interconnection Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare generator interconnection applications and develop necessary models
• Review ISO feasibility and system impact studies to guide clients
• Perform independent power system studies to support generator interconnection planning

Required Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems Analysis
• 3+ years of power systems engineering experience
• Knowledge of power regions and ISOs/RTOs
• Experience with modeling inverter-based resources and renewable generation
• Familiarity with transmission planning software such as PSS/E and PSLF
