Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder 2 to join their coding team in a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Assigns ICD-10, CPT-4, and HCPCs codes to diagnoses, treatments, and procedures
• Extracts information from electronic medical records and enters it into coding systems
• Resolves discrepancies in clinical documentation and provides feedback to providers

Required Qualifications

• Certificate program in Coding or A.A./A.S. in HIM with 1-3 years of healthcare experience
• 1 year of coding experience
• Basic knowledge of Windows-based computer software, including Epic and Microsoft Teams
• Relevant coding certifications (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC)
