Job Summary

A company is looking for an Intake Reimbursement Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify insurance benefits, identify coverage issues, and manage the intake and authorization process for pharmacy services
• Assist in resolving payer-related problems and provide expertise to other departments
• Serve as a resource for staff and physicians regarding pharmacy services and maintain knowledge of payer requirements

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting or with revenue cycle, health insurance, or benefits experience
• Revenue Cycle Certification (HFMA - CRCR) or Pharmacy certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
• Bachelor's degree in business, communications, health care, or a related field preferred
• Knowledge of ICD9 and ICD10 coding preferred
• Nationally certified with NCCA accredited certifying exams preferred
