A company is looking for a Professional Coder I.

Key Responsibilities

• Stay updated on coding conventions, regulatory guidelines, and code updates
• Validate codes for primary and secondary diagnoses and assign procedure codes
• Collaborate with leadership and providers to ensure coding compliance and integrity of medical records

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least one certification in the area of expertise (CCA, CPC, CPC-A, CCS-P, RHIA, RHIT, or CCS)
• No supervisory experience required
