Mortgage Closing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Closing Specialist II, responsible for facilitating the closing process of mortgage loans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate communication among all parties involved in the closing process to ensure a seamless experience
• Review and obtain necessary closing documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Prepare and issue Closing Disclosures and closing documents while validating fees and ensuring timely funding of loans

Required Qualifications and Education:

• Associate's degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior mortgage experience, or a combined 4 years of higher education and/or work experience including 2 years of mortgage experience
• Strong PC skills with knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and email software
• Specialized knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and policies
• Ability to make sound decisions and work independently within time constraints
• Notary Public certification preferred
