California Licensed Care Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Care Manager to oversee mental health and substance abuse treatment services remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor inpatient and outpatient care services to ensure medical necessity and effectiveness
• Provide crisis intervention, telephone triage, and develop discharge plans in collaboration with providers
• Educate members on benefits and resources while participating in quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years of post-degree experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or substance abuse settings
• Licensure required (e.g., CEAP, LCSW, LMSW, LPC, RN)
• Knowledge of utilization management procedures and mental health community resources
• Experience in inpatient and/or outpatient settings is preferred
