Job Summary
A company is looking for an Underwriting Assistant (Non-admitted Personal Lines).
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior underwriting staff with personal lines and homeowners policies, including administrative duties for new and renewal accounts
- Conduct risk assessments and preliminary reviews of submissions to ensure accuracy and eligibility
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to process insurance applications and manage customer interactions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 1 year of underwriting or related insurance experience required
- CPCU, CIC, CRIS, or Property & Casualty Brokers License is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry-specific software
- Strong desire to learn and adapt to changing priorities
