Condo Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Condo Project Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Review documentation for condominium and cooperative projects to ensure compliance with internal policies and agency requirements
• Maintain lists of approved and declined projects, managing expiration dates and lender concentration
• Perform legal reviews and determine project eligibility while delivering excellent customer service to Sales and Operations staff

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of project review experience
• 5+ years of experience related to mortgage credit guidelines, policies, and procedures
• 5 years of experience with FNMA/Freddie/FHA underwriting guidelines
• Experience with investor guidelines
• Knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA/VA regulations
