Network Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Security Engineer - North Central (Remote in the U.S.).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform project-based engineering, design, installation, and troubleshooting of data/security solutions
• Implement secure network solutions in collaboration with the engineering team
• Provide security engineering consulting services, including assessment, design, and implementation of secure networking environments

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Advanced-level knowledge and experience with security design and implementation, particularly with firewalls (Palo Alto required)
• Solid understanding of routing and switching architectures (CCNA level knowledge desired, CCNP+ preferred)
• BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and/or 2-4 years of related experience focused on Next Generation Firewall design and implementation
• Palo Alto PCNSE 10+ strongly desired; ACE/PCNSE 6/7 considered
• Industry security certifications such as CISSP & CEH desired; CCNA preferred
