A company is looking for an Access & Reimbursement Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct benefit verification and initiate pharmacy claims, including follow-up on prior authorizations and appeals
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to gather necessary information for prior authorizations and financial assistance
- Maintain knowledge of pharmacy benefit structures and assist customers with understanding prior authorization processes
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in pharmacy claims processing, benefit verification, or prior authorization in an insurance or pharmacy setting
- Willingness to work in MST or PST time zones
- Associate degree preferred
- Valid pharmacy technician license or certification as required by the state
- Experience in retail or specialty pharmacy is a plus
