New York Language Scorer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Language Scorer (NY).

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluates constructed responses of teacher candidates in New York
• Successfully internalizes training and scoring guide
• Engages with other scorers in consensus scoring activities

Required Qualifications

• Permanent or professional New York State teaching certificate corresponding to the content field
• Currently teaching in a New York State school (public or private) or a native/fluent speaker in the language with a college degree
• Educators from colleges and universities with a degree in a content-relevant field and/or recent teaching/advising experience
• Must be a resident of New York State with eligibility to work in the United States
