New York Licensed IT Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Security Engineer IV.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the response to escalated security incidents, coordinating with relevant teams and executing Incident Response Plans
• Perform detailed forensic analysis across host, network, and cloud infrastructures to identify the root cause and impact of security threats
• Develop, maintain, and improve incident response playbooks and runbooks for timely and compliant actions

Required Qualifications:

• Strong experience in incident response and digital forensics in a cybersecurity-focused role
• Proficient in developing automation and workflows, ideally with Workato and ServiceNow platforms
• Deep understanding of AWS infrastructure security
• Experience with AI technologies for enhancing security operations
• Industry certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., GCIH, GCFA, AWS Security Specialty) are highly valued
