Nonprofit Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Nonprofit Accountant to support mission-driven nonprofit organizations through proactive financial management and consulting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and nurture client relationships while collaborating with the delivery team for optimal service delivery
• Design and deliver exemplary service, including creating journal entries and defining accounting policies
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls and fraud prevention measures across client accounts

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience
• 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in nonprofit or public accounting and multi-client environments
• Demonstrated success managing multiple client relationships simultaneously
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly adapt to various accounting software platforms
• Experience with fraud prevention and internal controls
