Payment Operations Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payment Specialist to manage banking operations and payment processing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide the implementation of automated deposit payment processing in the core banking system
• Oversee daily GL account reconciliation and customer onboarding in the core banking system
• Process various transactions including wires, ACH, CD, IRA, and manage operational procedures

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business or 3+ years of relevant work experience in a commercial bank
• 2+ years of experience in banking operations, specifically with DDAs, term deposits, loans, and payments
• Familiarity with NACHA rules and regulations; AAP certification is a plus
• Experience with core banking systems and related operational processes
• Knowledge of workflow redesign and process improvement in banking operations
