Nordic Legal Translator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Nordic Languages - Legal Documentation - Translator, Editor and/or Transcriber.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate, edit, and/or transcribe legal documents and audio files from a Nordic language to English
• Edit legal documents and audio transcriptions while demonstrating a strong command of legal terminology
• Review and certify the quality of other translators' work as needed

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizen willing to undergo a government background check for Public Trust Clearance
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience in translation and/or editing between English and a foreign language
• At least 3 years of experience in audio transcription using relevant software
• Familiarity with legal terminology in both English and the target foreign language(s)
