Optimiza is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of IT procurement processes to support our organizational goals. This includes sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing IT goods and services while ensuring compliance with policies and maximizing value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective IT procurement strategies that align with the organization's technology needs and budgetary constraints.
  • Lead the sourcing process for IT products and services, including conducting market research, evaluating suppliers, and negotiating contracts.
  • Work closely with IT and other departments to understand their requirements and provide timely procurement solutions.
  • Review and assess supplier performance, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards.
  • Manage procurement documentation, maintain accurate records of all purchases, contracts, and supplier communications.
  • Monitor market trends and emerging technologies to inform procurement decisions and leverage new opportunities.
  • Train and mentor junior procurement staff on best practices and procurement policies.
  • Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT procurement or technology sourcing.
  • Strong knowledge of IT products, services, and procurement processes.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record in securing favorable terms for the organization.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in procurement management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is preferred.
