Job Summary
A company is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Category Manager responsible for leading strategic category support and aligning procurement with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement category strategies and plans to drive cost savings and performance outcomes
- Identify savings opportunities through spend analysis and market research to optimize vendor relationships
- Facilitate analytical reporting and problem resolution related to vendor performance and compliance
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred in relevant fields
- 8+ years of experience in supply chain management and vendor management in a regulated environment
- 6+ years of experience with regulatory guidelines such as OCC and FFIEC
- Strong understanding of supplier management processes and contract negotiation
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with relevant management systems is preferred
