Senior Category Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Category Manager responsible for supplier sourcing, relationship management, and product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve cost reduction and supplier quality improvement
• Manage relationships with strategic suppliers and support business units in resolving quality and delivery issues
• Negotiate agreements and contracts with suppliers to meet quality, price, and service objectives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
• CPM/AAPICS certifications preferred
• Eight (8) to Ten (10) years of professional experience in a global procurement environment
• Experience leading high-level negotiations and implementing complex supply chain deals
• US Citizenship is required; willingness/ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
