A company is looking for an Assistant Vice President of Procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and lead the organization's procurement function, including policy and procedure development
- Manage and optimize sourcing processes, supplier activities, and implement effective protocols
- Collaborate with senior leaders to establish business objectives and develop strategic supplier relationships
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in a procurement function
- A minimum of 5 years of management experience
- Strong knowledge of procurement law and significant experience in contract negotiation and administration
- Experience in general management and electronic commerce, with a focus on negotiations and change management
