Strategic Sourcing Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager, R&D.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support for various Research and Development categories based on strategic demands
• Implement sourcing and contracting needs for US-based spend within the R&D Organization
• Manage ongoing contract management and ensure compliance with procurement policies

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate degree, or Master's degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree with 4 years of relevant experience, or Associate's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or High school diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience
• Solid understanding of sourcing processes across multiple countries and spend categories
• Experience in Project Management and leading project teams across geographic and functional lines
• Understanding of the R&D function and experience in international environments
• Experience using e-procurement tools such as Ariba and proficiency with MS Office Suite
