Oracle Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Oracle Systems Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Provision, operate, install/configure, and maintain systems hardware/software/related infrastructure
• Provide technical support and guidance in the planning, implementation, and operation of databases
• Document specifications, project plans, configurations, and test plans while ensuring compliance with organizational values and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Five (5) years of professional experience in the engineering field
• Five (5) years of experience in Oracle and/or SQL server database administration and analysis support
• Five (5) years of experience working with DoD or Federal IT Systems
• Hands-on experience with Oracle database technologies, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems and ability to write and update shell scripts
