Patient Account Senior Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Senior Representative-Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct follow-up activities on accounts, including contacting payors and patients to resolve outstanding balances
• Research accounts using patient accounting applications and internet resources, documenting actions taken and maintaining productivity goals
• Assist in training new or existing staff and participate in special projects to improve team performance

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• 2-5 years of experience in Medical/Hospital Insurance related collections
• Basic knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance
• Intermediate technical skills, including proficiency in PC and MS Outlook
• Minimum typing requirement of 45 words per minute
