Patient Privacy Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Privacy Compliance Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing case triage and review services for professional services customers
• Conduct initial investigations of new cases and author assessment notes on customer cases
• Assist with generating and delivering data analysis and reporting for customers

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare information management, information services, policy/legal, or related discipline
• 3+ years of experience with healthcare electronic medical records or healthcare compliance
• 1+ years of experience in a hospital or health system compliance or patient privacy role
• High level of proficiency using Excel for data analysis
• Knowledge of healthcare rules and regulations, including HIPAA privacy auditing
