Job Summary
A company is looking for a Regulatory Affairs Director to lead engagement with utility regulators and shape a favorable regulatory environment for wildfire detection technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regulatory strategies to promote AI-enabled wildfire detection technology
- Build and maintain relationships with regulatory stakeholders and represent the company at industry events
- Support the Utility Sales team with regulatory insights and customer education materials
Required Qualifications
- 8-12+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, energy policy, or utility operations
- Direct experience with state Public Utility Commissions or federal energy regulators
- Proven track record of successful regulatory advocacy
- Strong knowledge of utility regulatory frameworks and market drivers
- Familiarity with wildfire mitigation planning processes is preferred
