Job Summary
A company is looking for a Payroll Specialist who will manage payroll processes and assist with equity administration and accounting duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll in a multi-state corporate environment and ensure accuracy in tax and deduction calculations
- Provide customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries and maintain positive relationships
- Support the accounting department with month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
Required Qualifications
- 7-10 years of related payroll and accounts payable experience
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree
- Experience with semi-monthly payroll processing for a large workforce (600+ full-time and 300+ hourly employees)
- Thorough understanding of payroll rules and regulations; Workday experience is preferable
- Experience with equity compensation and international payroll is a plus
