Performance Testing Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Performance Testing Engineer with expertise in Oil & Gas Drilling applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain performance test plans, scripts, and scenarios for drilling applications
• Analyze system behavior under various conditions to identify performance bottlenecks and collaborate with development teams for resolution
• Monitor key performance indicators during test executions and generate detailed test reports with actionable recommendations

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in performance engineering or testing in enterprise or industrial software
• Familiarity with oil and gas drilling workflows and real-time data protocols
• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for test automation
• Experience with monitoring tools like New Relic or Dynatrace
• Solid understanding of network latency, threading/concurrency, and database performance (SQL/NoSQL)
