Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Platform Engineer to enhance and optimize existing code bases and manage virtual infrastructure in AWS cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance, optimize, and increase robustness of existing code bases
• Design and implement core architecture and capabilities for software applications
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure stability, security, and scalability of platforms

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering or Software Development with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years with a Master's; or High School Diploma/equivalent and 9 years relevant experience
• Current Secret U.S. Government Security clearance required
• Proficiency in Python or Go, and strong knowledge of Linux systems
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AWS cloud infrastructure management
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and configuration management tools
