Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Engineer (remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users and technology teams to create innovative data solutions
• Optimize BI dashboard quality and establish best practices
• Design semantic data layers for analytics and work with engineering teams on data infrastructure

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 5+ years of experience with Tableau and performance tuning
• Strong experience with SQL and Python
• Experience in building semantic layers using tools like AtScale and dbt
• Experience with big data technologies such as Delta Lake and Apache Spark
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is highly preferable
