Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Motion Planning Engineer to define motion planning and control systems for autonomous vehicle operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead research and development of algorithms for motion planning in autonomous driving
• Monitor system performance and develop strategies for improvement
• Architect and integrate complex motion planning and prediction algorithms for real-world deployment

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; or a Master's with 7+ years of relevant experience
• 10+ years of research experience in robotics/motion planning with a proven project leadership track record
• 5+ years of C++ software development experience focused on high-performance systems
• Experience leading technical development from problem formulation to deployment
• Strong drive for knowledge and innovation in autonomous driving technology
