Job Summary
A company is looking for a Principal Probabilistic Risk Assessment Engineer with extensive experience in risk assessment for reactor design.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform PRA and severe accident analysis in coordination with plant design and safety analysis
- Develop and maintain PRA models, including fault trees and event trees, to inform design decisions
- Provide technical guidance and participate in peer reviews and hazard analysis activities
Required Qualifications and Skills
- B.S. or M.S. in nuclear, mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering (or similar)
- Fifteen years or more of experience in Probabilistic Risk Assessment
- Knowledge of PRA principles and familiarity with ASME/ANS Non-Light Water PRA standards
- Experience with PRA software such as CAFTA and FRANX
- Broad understanding of various engineering disciplines related to Nuclear Power Plant design
