Validator Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Validator Engineer to manage the uptime, performance, and reliability of its validators.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and automate bare-metal and cloud deployments for validators using a simulation framework
• Orchestrate client upgrades and parameter changes with zero downtime across staging and mainnet
• Produce run-books and maintain documentation while supporting validator operators via Discord

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience operating high-availability distributed systems, including PoS validators on EVM-based chains
• Proficient in Go and Rust, with the ability to read and extend Execution Layer and Consensus Layer client code
• Strong understanding of protocol-level concepts such as fork-choice and state sync
• Expertise in Kubernetes/Helm, Terraform, and CI/CD workflows
• Advanced Linux user with deep networking knowledge and a focus on system hardening and security
