Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Software Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and scale application-layer services for fraud detection and secure identity workflows
• Lead modernization efforts, including migration to microservices and high-throughput event-driven architectures
• Mentor engineers, lead design reviews, and participate in incident response and on-call rotation

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in application server design, fraud prevention, and authentication systems
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, ElasticSearch, and Kubernetes
• Deep knowledge of IAM protocols including OAuth2, OpenID, SSO, and MFA integrations
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Proficiency in scripting tools like Python, Ansible, and Bash
