Job Summary
A company is looking for a Procurement Specialist, preferably in the Phoenix metro area, to manage operational procurement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact with Business Unit partners and suppliers to ensure quality materials/services are delivered at the lowest total cost
- Track inbound/outbound shipments, develop inventory optimization strategies, and manage stock planning parameters
- Execute the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process efficiently, coordinating supply chain processes and monitoring performance
Required Qualifications
- A four-year Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline, or six years of closely related experience
- Two years of experience in materials or services positions
- Exposure to strategic supply chain management
- Experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems
- Ability to develop and manage contracts and agreements effectively
