Project Controls Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Project Controls Analyst, Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops project baseline budgets, analyzes project risks, and provides analytical support to Project Managers
• Monitors project progress, compares actual versus baseline resource usage, and analyzes project cost variances
• Prepares documentation for project financial review, change control processes, and provides updates on project financials and status

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college or university
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• 3+ years of experience in financial modeling and/or project controls
• Experience with fixed price and financial analysis, preferably for software implementation contracts or system integration projects
• Understanding of accrual processes, invoice review, and validation
