Python Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Python Backend Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Estimate, plan, and implement software development work
• Collaborate with product managers to gather requirements and improve modules
• Maintain and enhance the existing codebase, applying software engineering best practices

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience designing and developing web service applications
• Strong experience with web services/APIs (REST, JSON, OpenAPI/Swagger)
• Proficiency with modern Python frameworks (FastAPI/Flask, SQLAlchemy Core, etc.)
• Strong experience with relational databases and SQL query optimization (Postgres)
• Strong experience with Git and collaborative software development
