IT Support Technician

Provide  Tier 1 IT support for network, web, data exchange, and notification systems, as well as servers and desktops outside regular office hours (6 PM to 6 AM) to ensure continuous operation. Address IT incidents by employing common troubleshooting skills, following documented procedures, and, when necessary, contacting appropriate higher-tier support personnel. Respond to on-site issues within one (1) hour of request.

• Five (5) years of experience providing IT support services such as:
  • Windows and Linux client and server systems
  • Networking systems such as FortiGate, Juniper, HP, and Dell.
• Experience with VM  infrastructures
• Familiar with DOI and USGS security regulations, SOPs, and best practices
• Familiar with utilizing network and host system monitoring
• Familiar with AWS

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to work on Government contracts.
• Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
