Job Summary

A company is looking for a Linux Engineer (Red Hat) RHEL.

Key Responsibilities

• Stand up and configure a new RHEL server following enterprise-grade best practices
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks related to NFS and SMB share writes, focusing on latency reduction
• Document findings, recommendations, and remediation steps clearly and concisely

Required Qualifications

• Expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) setup and optimization
• Experience troubleshooting I/O latency and performance issues in Linux environments
• Strong understanding of NFS (v3/v4) and SMB (Samba) protocol behavior and tuning
• Ability to work independently and communicate technical findings to stakeholders
• Calm and adaptable under pressure, especially in customer support scenarios
