Remote Intervention Specialist | Online Special Education Teacher – Texas

Our growing virtual school is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide specialized instruction and interventions to students with diverse learning needs.

Primary Duties…
• Develop and implement individualized online learning plans and IEPs
• Deliver targeted interventions via video conferencing platforms
• Collaborate with general education teachers and other specialists
• Conduct virtual assessments and monitor student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely special education documentation
• Communicate regularly with parents and participate in IEP meetings
• Create and adapt digital materials for students requiring interventions

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education
• Valid teaching certification with special education endorsement
• Minimum 3 years of experience in special education, with a focus on interventions
• Knowledge of evidence-based intervention strategies for various learning needs
• Proficiency in using technology for online instruction and progress monitoring
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and families in a virtual setting
