Accounts Receivable Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Representative - Self-Pay for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage timely and accurate billing and collections for private pay liability and insurance payments
• Handle billing and collections for the Skilled Nursing Facility and Assisted Living Facility
• Ensure compliance with insurance contracts and Medicare/Medicaid regulations

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of recent experience in a healthcare environment focused on reimbursement and collections
• Experience with insurance contracts and/or Medicare/Medicaid regulations
• College-level coursework or training in medical front office or medical billing is preferred
• Familiarity with Epic software is preferred
