Job Summary

A company is looking for an Admissions Counselor.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and collect patient demographic and insurance information during the admission process
• Educate patients on insurance coverage, financial liability, and assist with financial counseling
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and manage patient registrations and insurance authorizations

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred
• 2 years of experience in a customer service role required
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications required
• 3-5 years of experience in a medical facility or related field preferred
• Medical Terminology coursework preferred
