A company is looking for a Claims Facilitator.
Key Responsibilities
- Processes first party automobile and low severity property claims, verifying coverage and settling claims
- Establishes contact with all parties involved in the claim and handles inquiries from various stakeholders
- Enters loss information into the claims system and prepares necessary correspondence and materials
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High school diploma or GED with one year of related experience; or equivalent educational experience
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
- Pursuit of general insurance education preferred
- Must obtain appropriate licenses as required by state within specified timeframes
